Freewheel is funded by Bike Right, Inc. and the donations and efforts of many volunteers. Freewheel cannot continue to exist without your help! Here’s how you can do that!

Donate money: We pay all costs out of our own small pockets … we welcome any donation, no matter how huge, and as a 501(c)3 Nonprofit, all donations are tax-deductible.

Donate bikes and parts: Freewheel always needs donations of parts. We’ll accept anything, regardless of condition. Nearly everything in the shop has been saved from the waste stream or has been donated by friendly people like you! Whatever we can’t use gets recycled so that it doesn’t go into a landfill somewhere, and can be used as a tax deduction!

Volunteer at the shop: We could clean every day and still there would be more to do. Cleaning and organizing are a great way to learn shop work. If you like to get your hands dirty, you can strip bikes down into usable parts, or help others with their own projects by becoming a mechanic. We are open to other ideas for the space, and many possibilities need to be explored. More core members are always welcome, so come and get involved! contact us at info@freewheelbikes.org

Volunteer on your own: We need help with fund raising, grant writing, website design/updates, community outreach, flyering, tabling and much more.

Spread the word: Tell every living soul you see including your dog and your grandma. Please use the share button that appears at the bottom of every page.
